Selection criteria:

Generally the choice of the pump volume [15, 17, 19 or 27 l/min] depends on the component specific cross-section and the length of the cavity. If the blow out time is very limited, one should use preferentially bigger pump volume performances. The servo pumps of PME can be operated one by one or connected in parallel. Through this the result is a flexible system which can be used for two single or one big mould cavity. By using this new developed servo pump technology of PME in connection with the pressure-dependent control of the volume flow rate there is no limitation in the length of the cavity formation. However, the higher complete volume flow of parallel running servo pumps can be used on the one hand for the reduction of the blow out time, as well as for the acceleration of the inflation before injector opening with air bubble in front of and short injection time of the melt. This regulation procedure enables a continuously pressure-dependent volume flow inside of the component during the flushing process. Thereby the flushing process is adjustable so that the required pressure is regulated individually and can be used furthermore as dwell-pressure.
An integrated maintenance management [preventative maintenance information] as well as the remote maintenance belongs to the general standard for the PME machine technology.
